Introduction

At Cromar Building Products, through independent ownership since forming in 1997, we provide a one-stop-shop for all flat and pitched roofing products, along with a full portfolio of building chemicals, adhesives, sealants, timber treatments, tanking membranes and DPC’s. This all-encompassing range features our key brand names including PROGRP, Cromapol, Vent3, Leadax, ProRidge, Flexiglass, AlphaChem and many more.

In late 2018 the AlphaChem range was launched, featuring a core selection of products, including sealants, adhesives, building chemicals, foams, tapes, decorating sundries and ancillary products. All designed with eye-catching packaging highlighting our ‘Passion For Performance’ and commitment to delivering a top-quality product. This rapidly growing range has quickly become popular with merchants and builders alike.

At a time of continuing mergers, acquisitions and consequent reduction in supplier choice, we take pride in the fact we are independent, giving better flexibility to respond quickly to new and changing customer needs. With deliveries leaving numerous times a day to customers throughout the UK and Ireland, and further afield to our export customers, we pride ourselves in offering exceptional service and value. Research & Development

At Cromar, we continuously invest in research and development giving us the ability to extend the diverse portfolio of products we manufacture. In addition, a close relationship with our customer base means that we are always listening to their requirements and ensuring we add products to the range that are not only in demand but that they, in turn, are able to sell.

Accreditations

We are proud to have BBA approval on many of their roofing products including our Vent3 breathable membranes and GRP Valleys, all maintained continually with good working practices and manufacturing at the highest standards. We also have full CE marking on our building admixtures and silicones.

Manufacturing

We currently manufacture over 70% of our product range at our facility in Whitley Bridge, the highlight of which is our membrane plant, installed in 2009 it features state of the art machinery unique to Cromar in the UK. We work to make continuous plant and machinery improvements to ensure we reach peak efficiency and production yields to meet the growing customer demands.

Constantly expanding, we have most recently added a 47,000 sq foot warehouse to our building portfolio, which means that we can hold even more stock to meet customers’ demands.
